It took the team nearly 4 hours to make a normally 1 hour trip to the Volcano Pacaya. Here the team handed out 100 13lb bags of flour, rice, and beans to families impacted by the volcanic eruption. In the midst of the torrential rain of Tropical Storm Agatha, a 40 minute rain of fire fell on the villages leaving up to 2 feet of volcanic material, burned homes, and destroyed crops.
